The overarching goal of the internship program is to train ethically responsible psychologists who have the requisite knowledge, skills, and attitudes that are the foundation of the competent practice of professional psychology in a pluralistic society. Our interns provide individual psychotherapy, group therapy, couples counseling, crisis intervention, assessment and case disposition, programming and consultation, and supervision of graduate level trainees. We are proud of the high-quality, individualized training we offer interns and feel our program's particular strengths lie in our entire staff's commitment to training, the quality and quantity of supervision provided, our training in group psychotherapy, and the unique opportunities available through focus area placements. The stipend for the full-time, 12 month internship is at least $20,000. Interns also receive 20 days annual leave (vacation + professional days) and eight university holidays. Additional benefits include medical and dental insurance, flexible spending account, use of library and computer facilities, and parking.
