Group Counseling Offerings

Interpersonal Therapy Groups

A variety of issues are explored with emphasis on concerns related to understanding yourself and how you interact with others. Looking at relationships within family, with significant others, and within the group can lead to increased self-understanding.

Eating Issues Therapy Group

Having support, empathy, and challenge from others can be a powerful, effective way to better understand and cope with eating concerns. Related issues such as self-care, self-esteem, body image, family concerns, and interpersonal relationships will be explored.

International Women’s Support Group

This group will focus on helping you and your family make the adjustment to living in a new culture. It will be a supportive environment that will encourage sharing with and learning from each other.

For information about any of these groups, please contact Dr. Jenny Lybeck-Brown at 573.882.6601. All groups are FREE and open to MU students.
